65 pairs of shoes.. will they all be "saved"?

SHOE CHALLENGE # 22 & 23:

shoe: (left) by Costa Blanca (right) weekend by Jessica
where: I wore these to the christening of the Algoma Mariner in PortColborne this past Thursday morning. I was able to go on a tour of the ship and was not going to be climbing stairs and a ladder with heels on, that's for sure! Good thing I brought my matching flats along with me :D Always be prepared with a pair of flats!!

If i recall correctly, i actually found both of these at Value Village. The Costa ones for sure I know I did.

date: August 25th, 2011

SHOE CHALLENGE # 24:

shoe: by Wild Diva
where: I wore these out for two nights this past week. Once to a house warming party (pictured left) and once again the next night to the movies. :)

The best part is, I bought them for $1 at a garage sale that morning. WIN!

date: August 26th & 27th, 2011

SHOE CHALLENGE # 25:

shoe: ...the insoles have fallen out and the writting is worn off the bottom, alas, I do not know the origin of this pair of shoes.
where: This pair was worn to a baby shower I was invited to this past weekend. I also got to wear a dress from my closet that I haven't worn yet! Saving shoes and saving clothes, what a combination! :D

I picked these up either from Value Village (like most of my collection) or they were passed onto me from my sister or mother...either way,Ii love them and I wear them a ton.

date: August 28th, 2011

SHOE CHALLENGE # 26:

shoe: by 725
where: This is a pair of shoes that I have also worn daily since I picked them up last summer from Value Village (honestly, i find so many good shoes there!). However, today I wore them to the Toronto Zoo! My boyfriend took me there as a day adventure for our 3 year anniversary.

SHOE CHALLENGE #17 - 21

65 pairs of shoes.. will they all be "saved"?

SHOE CHALLENGE # 17:

shoe:by Chinese Laundry
where: to a much needed girls night with my best friend back home. I scored these babies also from Value Village. At the time, I hadn't seen anything like them around the area in which I live...so I just had to have them. They are so comfy too! (always a plus).

date: July 16th, 2011

SHOE CHALLENGE # 18:

shoe: point by 725 Originals
where: to the movies to see Horrible Bosses with a friend I hadn't seen in awhile. I have actually never worn these shoes since I bought them. It hurt to wear them in so I just avoided it and they stayed in a box. They tore up the back of my heels a little bit after the day was through, but I saved them, so I better get used to the band-aids!

date: July 18th, 2011

SHOE CHALLENGE # 19:

shoe: by LifeStride
where: to a BMX competition that my cousin-in-law was taking part in. He got 3rd place in his division! So proud of him! :D

date: July 23th, 2011

SHOE CHALLENGE # 20:

where: gone swimming! and various other days for daily errands.

SHOE CHALLENGE #7 - 16

65 pairs of shoes.. will they all be "saved"?

DAMN I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN AWHILE
date: between May 13th - July 13th, 2011

SHOE CHALLENGE # 7:

shoe: unfortunately, i actually dont know where these shoes came from. I bought them from Value Village and the bottoms have rubbed off where the company's name used to be. All I know that it says "made in portugal" on the bottom still.
where: to an outing with my boyfriend and his mother to the lakefront in Mississauga.

SHOE CHALLENGE # 8:

shoe: by NEVADA
where: to a weekend at my friends house with lots of adventure.

I also welcomed these shoes into my collection from the forever surprising Value Village. They were just so cute I couldn't resist. I never really like wedges, but I am slowly becoming more and more addicted to them. It's safe to say, these ones are saved.

SHOE CHALLENGE # 9:

shoe: by Daniel Laurent
where: to a retirement party for my pre-school teacher.

It was so sad to hear that the woman who taught me in pre-school was finally leaving her post. However, it was a great reason to wear (and save) maybe the cutest pair of shoes I own! (maybe) These lacey doll-like shoes are so comfy. And since they are black, they practically go with anything! This was also the weekend after I crossed over to the dark side and dyed my hair a nice dark auburn.

SHOE CHALLENGE # 10:

shoe: by Predictions
where: just out and about

These I believe I got lucky on. I am a very picky girl when it comes to sandals and how my feet look in them. Not sure why..just always have been. I got these from within the family so they were free! And I love the way they look on my little feet. Sometimes the part that goes between my toes hits just the right spot and hurts a little with a slight pinch, but other than that, they are a great pair of shoes.

SHOE CHALLENGE # 11:

shoe: by Frankie and Duny
where: HAPPY CANADA DAY!

Wore these to the fireworks display at Ontario Place this year. Also bought from Value Village for $14, they still had the original tag on it from Zellers for $23.99. They were the perfect splash of red to match my red shirt for the occasion.

SHOE CHALLENGE # 12:

shoe: by A.co
where: HAPPY CANADA DAY!

These were also worn during Canada Day weekend. To my best friend's BBQ bash. Great times.

Bought these from Giant Tiger.
SHOE CHALLENGE # 13:

shoe: by Harajuku Lovers
where: to an Oldies Car Show in Hamilton

I am part of a non-profit organization called theBIGpink. Throughout the summer we will have our booth set up at the Oldies Car Show every thursday in Hamilton, Ontario at Pier 4 (Bayfront Park). We are raising money that will be donated to the building of the new CIBC Breast Assessment Centre at the Juravinski Hospital downtown. Being that it was an oldies car show, it was only right to dress the part of a 50s pin up girl and boy were these babies an excellent match! $40 at Winners.

SHOE CHALLENGE # 14:

shoe: by Blue Crush
where: Edward Gardens, Toronto

I rocked these babies while on set of my most current photoshoot that took place at Edward Gardens in Toronto, Ontario. The next 2 pairs of shoes posted were also featured in the shoot. Talk about your killing of birds with one stone... I saved 3 pairs of shoes that day! (That counts right?) If not, no worries, all 3 pairs have been accounted for on other occasions.

These boots were a steal from Giant Tiger for $15.

Two words: BACK UPS.
It is always good to have a pair of flats on you. Especially on the nights you know those heels are going to brutalize your poor little toes! I also brought these babies as back ups to the Niagara College grad show where I completed shoe challenge #1 (previous blog post).
